Whether you are looking to hunt a specific species for trophies or are new to the sport, High Country Outfitters will deliver the experience you are looking for.
Located in the pristine area of Northern California, we have thousands of acres of access to public and private hunting lands. Many lakes, streams, and rivers as well as mountains, valleys, and forests support our diversity in hunting wild game.
We offer guided hunts in an array of game, e.g. Bear, Wild Pigs, Deer, Antelope, Elk, Wild Turkeys, Dove, Ducks, Geese, Bobcats, Raccoon, and Grey Fox Hunts.
Bear Hunts- Bears are available during season on two day hunts with dogs. The season opens during the general season for deer (September) and extends until the last Sunday in December or until the state quota has been reached.

We don't charge a trophy fee for any game animal.

The initial agreed upon price is what you pay no hidden cost in any of our hunts.

Bear hunts are $2000.00 per hunter, $2500.00 for trophy bear, or $1400.00 for junior hunters. Success rates are 99.9%. Archery, rifle, pistol, and muzzleloader offered.
Wild Pig Hunts- Wild Pig hunts are spot and stalk. Success rates run at 99%. Wild Pig hunts are $600.00 per hunter for meat hogs. Trophy boars (boar with tusks 2 inches and longer and/or 300 lbs or more) are $900. An additional pig may be taken on same booking trip for $500.00. Wild pig hunts are 1.5 days long. This consist of 1 evening hunt and 2 morning hunts. Hunting is available on several high producing ranches. The terrain consist of about 6,000 acres of brushy draws with oak studded ridges, another 10,000 acres of rolling hills with oaks. Hunting is conducted usually from 4x4 vehicle or Rhino’s while spotting and stalking from higher points. Archery, rifle, pistol, and muzzleloader offered.
Deer Hunts- Deer hunts are spot and stalk. Success rates are at 98%. Prices for these hunts vary ($2500-$4000), depending on length, location, and management or trophy hunt. Archery, rifle, pistol, and muzzleloader offered. Guaranteed tags for Oregon and California.
Antelope Hunts- (Oregon) Antelope hunts are $1800 per hunter guaranteed tags(California) Antelope hunts are available with successful draw results from the Department of Fish and Game. Prices vary depending on length and location.
Elk Hunts- Elk hunts are available with successful draw results from the Department of Fish and Game. Prices vary depending on length and location.
Bobcat Hunts- Bobcat hunts are available on two day hunts with dogs. Success rates are at 99.9%. Price is $800.00.
Exotics-Barbados Rams, hunts are $1000.00 per hunter for trophy class rams.
Turkey Hunts- Turkey hunt success rates are 99% . Prices are $500.00 per hunter. Archery, and shotgun offered. 2007 season 100%
Dove Hunts- Dove hunts are available on 4000 acres. Hunts are $250.00 per day, per hunter.
Duck Hunts- Duck hunts are available for $300.00 per hunter, per day.
Goose Hunts- Goose hunts are available for $300.00 per hunter, per day.
Duck and Goose- Duck and goose hunts are also available combined for$450.00 per hunter, per day.
Additional Information
Hunts may be booked with a 50% deposit to reserve dates available.
All parties must sign a waiver and release of liability agreement.
All hunters must have valid California Hunting License, tags, and or stamps for species being hunted.
All hunts include transportation once you arrive in Anderson. Also included are guiding service, field dressing of animals, trophy care, the packing out of your animal, and transportation to local game processor, if requested.
Taxidermist information is available upon request and is the responsibility of the client.

There are several local motels to stay at (prices range from $55-$80 per night) ask for a list or recommendation when you book your hunt.
We can also do a fully outfitted hunt package on are Bear, Dear, and Pig hunts for a additional charge of $200.00 per day per hunter. This includes tent accommodations equipped with cots, sleeping bags, meals, refreshments and anything else you may need on your hunt other than your personal items.
